A new culinary world is surfacing.01.02.2027
TasteBud makes ideas tasteable. From an intimate dinner built around a memory to a hotel signature dish, a tasting around a brand story or a plate that begins with a song, game, feeling or cultural bridge.
Almost time for the first official bite.
Until 1 February, you can already play with some of the experiences, studio tools and food ideas that make TasteBud different.
What is TasteBud on 1 February?
TasteBud is a culinary experience & food innovation studio for people, restaurants, hotels and brands that want to serve something that does not feel as if it could exist anywhere. We combine cooking, concept design, sensory design and experimentation to create food that belongs to a moment, place, story or feeling - while still working in the real world.
Private Reef Dinners
Personal dinners, surprises and sensory moments designed around your guests and occasion.
Food Innovation & Brand Tables
New dishes, menus, products and tastings for restaurants, hotels, cafés and brands.
Stories, Soundtracks & Games
Stories, music, films, TV series, videogames and memories become starting points for flavour and course design.
Sensory Compass, Fusion & Future Food
Feeling-to-Flavour, sensory worlds, cultural bridges, Lab prototypes and FlavourCode connect food with everything around it.
What do you want TasteBud to help you create?
Choose the option closest to your idea. You will immediately see which TasteBud direction fits and which preview you can try below.
A dinner, surprise or special moment
Private Reef Dinners combine food, atmosphere and senses around your guests and occasion.
A small TasteBud playground.
Try a few of the ideas that will run through TasteBud: private experiences, food innovation, brands, feelings, senses, cultural fusion, stories, hospitality, Lab and FlavourCode.
Build a reef mood
Choose the mood and see how food, sound and light can form one dinner world.
From question to testable idea
Choose the problem you want to solve and get a compact sprint route.
What would your brand taste like?
Choose a brand personality and get a first tasting direction.
Start with the feeling
A dish does not have to begin with a cuisine. It can begin with how someone should feel.
How loud, bright, scented and tactile?
Move the senses and see what sensory world forms around the food.
Cultural bridges, not random mashups
Browse a few fusion directions and see how shared ingredients and techniques can lead to new dishes.
Story, Soundtrack, Film/TV/Game → Plate
Choose where the experience begins. TasteBud uses the structure of the story or medium as culinary design input.
Something that only makes sense here
Choose the venue type and add one identity cue. The output is deliberately a direction, not a finished recipe.
Which prototype would you test further?
In the Lab, not every idea has to be 'right' immediately. Tasting two directions side by side often teaches more than one perfect pitch.
A memory in three fragments
Some TasteBud experiences use NFC, QR codes, printed data patterns or other physical-digital techniques in a card, coaster, menu item or table object to unlock sound, clues or a memory locally. The technology stays in the background; the food and experience remain central.
A few more things you can try before launch.
These previews combine several sides of TasteBud: personalisation, hospitality, senses, cultural bridges and surprise.
Build My TasteBud Journey
Choose three signals.
TasteBud turns them into a first coherent direction.
How do guests arrive - how should they leave?
From generic to ownable.
Choose the venue type and see which layers can make an ordinary dish more distinctive.
Well executed, but little reason to remember it specifically here.
Choose a venue first.
Which layers should lead?
Find the bridge before the dish.
Which hotel moment should become memorable?
One unexpected TasteBud combination.
Not an endless generator: one concrete prompt per click to feel a new direction.
Want to continue with something you just tried?
TasteBud remembers the previews you actually used on this page. Review the selection, add another direction if useful, and send a focused note without starting from scratch.
